Polar Peaks - 3 Bdrm HT - Big White

Polar Peaks is a guest favourite. This stand-alone Big White chalet offers great ski in/ski out access via a groomed run right to your door.

Polar Peaks welcomes its guests into a large heated slate floor entrance way with rustic raw iron hooks for all your winter gear and a great wooden bench. With convenient half bathroom at the end of the hallway, and a door that leads onto a balcony with large hot tub. The private hot tub has far reaching views of the Monashee Mountains. The covered porch at the front door there is a propane gas BBQ.

An exposed beam ceiling in the kitchen adds to the country charm. The kitchen has modern appliances (with a gas range) and an island for food preparation. A large window over the sinks offers floods of natural lighting, looks up into the street. The dining area has a bench window seat and the wooden oval table offers enough seating for 6 to 8. Warm wood floors throughout the main living area add to the alpine ambience of this impressive chalet.

The centre attraction is the rock face, gas fireplace. Snuggle up on the comfy sectional leather couches and enjoy the company of your family and friends. Plenty of seating is available in the living area, with a large l shaped sectional leather couch, two leather arm chairs and a large coffee table. Floor to ceiling picture windows on either side of the fireplace give great natural lighting all the way up to the vaulted ceiling. Stairs lead up to the main bathroom, laundry closet, and another set of stairs up to the master bedroom.

The loft is dedicated to a master bedroom, with a king bed and side tables with lamps and a clock radio. The ceiling is vaulted exposing ornate beams. This room features a large window seat with built in drawers. There are shutters on window frames looking down onto the living room that add to the privacy of the loft. The bedroom has a 40” TV on top of a dresser, that can be easily viewed from the bed.

Between the kitchen and master bedroom is a landing that has a main bathroom with large corner bath, separate enclosed shower, toilet, single vanity basin set in a counter with a mirror. Also on this level is a closet with a stacking washer and dryer.

From the hallway down the carpeted stairs to the lower level, leads to the lower bedrooms and bathroom.

To the right of the passage is the second bedroom with single over double pine bunk bed, with a pull out trundle bed. The room has 2 small south facing windows for natural lighting, a large built in closet, a built in desk with TV and chair.

To the left is the third bedroom with a single over double pine bunk bed with pull out double trundle bed, a single built in closet and built in desk with TV and chair. This room has a small window, that in the winter will be covered by snow.

Located conveniently in the middle of the 2 bedrooms is a bathroom with shower, toilet and single vanity basin set in full length counter with mirror.

The Forest is located above Snow Pines Estate, on the edge of a forest; and has its own dedicated ski run through the forest from Serwa’s (the green run from the top of the Ridge Rocket and Snow Ghost.) To ski out you cross over Snow Pines Way, back on Lower Snow Pines Road, and down to Ridge Rocket, Snow Ghost and Plaza Chairs Lifts.
