About Panorama Mountain Resort
Panorama Mountain Village provides a unique alpine experience and offers a great location, only 2 hours drive from Banff, Alberta. This family friendly resort is an excellent choice for skiers and snowboarders looking for a high altitude alpine adventure. With the second highest vertical in Canada it is easy to see why Panorama has become a favourite of winter enthusiasts everywhere.
As you walk through the expanded village stop in at any of the local businesses and try a few outdoor activities such as RK Heliski which has been providing thrill seekers with the opportunity to track untouchable snow for 38 years. There are also plenty of unique shops where you can take home clothes, souvenirs or work by local artists.
While the snow conditions are phenomenal and the winter terrain second to none, winter is not the only time to enjoy the natural terrain. In the past few years Panorama has greatly expanded their summer activities and events. Book a white water rafting trip for your family and adventure down the Toby Creek. Several of the chairlifts continue running in the summer months and provide unbeatable views from the summit.
Throughout the year enjoy live music with the Music in the Mountain weekly festival which features jazz, rock, folk and classical artists. If your travel plans happen to coincide with the Panorama Summer Fiesta you are in for a real treat as the village comes alive with entertainment, carnival games and shows for adults and children of all ages.
No matter what season you choose to experience Panorama Mountain Village, we guarantee your first trip will not be your last.
